City of Colton Monument Sign

This city entry monument sign was done in collaboration with architects at Community Works Design Group and fabricated by Bravo Sign for the City of Colton. It includes a poured-in-place concrete footing, and a corten steel sign frame with gabion baskets that hold custom colored glass rocks, which give the sign the blue hue. The sign is internally illuminated with bright Sloan LED’s that really bring out the blue details at night. The side of the monument is made with a corten steel framed pilaster with ledgestone veneer, with a custom cut circular corten steel logo at the top that is lined with the blue glass and externally illuminated. This project was a very innovative design and was difficult to pull together, but with a little creativity, we were able to turn it into a unique final product.
