Esencia Sports Park, City of Rancho Mission Viejo CA

We are proud to have worked on the monument signage for this magnificent 34-acre Sports Park & Recreation Center.

Bravo Sign & Design built these beautiful monument signs for the Esencia Sports Park in the community of Rancho Mission Viejo. The Landscape Architect, RJM Design Group, designed this magnificent sports park.

For this project, Bravo built the wood grain textured form molds in our shop, transported the mold to the site, and poured the concrete into the molds.  Once the concrete cured, our team removed the molds, which revealed a concrete sign base with a wood grain texture.  The aluminum cabinet sign saddles the concrete base on both sides with mounted aluminum letters which gives these monument signs a more dimensional look.

The lower park site encompasses two lighted baseball fields and one lighted softball field with supporting amenities, including covered dugouts, attached bullpens, and soft toss cages, tiered concrete spectator seating, batting cages, and scoreboards.  A lighted multi-use soccer field with tiered concrete spectator seating and a 1,500 square foot concession/restroom building support the team sports uses. The lower park also includes a children’s tot lot and play features.

The upper park site encompasses two lighted tennis courts, two lighted pickleball courts, a swimming pool with three swim lanes, a splash pad, and a 1,500 square foot pool building.  The pool area amenities include community barbecues and fire pits as well as cabanas surrounding the pool for comfort.
